Zenda is a character in Might & Magic: Heroes VI and Might & Magic: Heroes VII. Born circa 630 YSD, she proves her loyalty to Anastasya and the Spider Cult during its rising. Having then survived the Magical plague as a Lich, Zenda confronts the Wizards in the year 660 YSD, where Anastasya helps her escape unlife, albeit not for long.

In the year 771 YSD, during the Purge, Zenda finally accepts her fate and turns into a powerful Vampire.

Biography[]

Heroes VI[]

Zenda was the first child born to Wizards who were fervent believers in the Spider Goddess. A great deal of "dark" hopes were placed on her shoulders in her early years. The High Necromancer Miranda herself was chosen as her godmother, and she was given a permanent retinue of sworn Vampire Knights for protection.

During her first encounter with the Mother Namtaru – a baptism ceremony where her feet were washed in sacred venom and the education of her soul pledged to the sect – the Avatar of Asha put everyone at ease: "The child’s fate belongs to no one. The Choice of Life or Unlife she will make when the Moon bathes in blood and a sword steals her heart."

Zenda was returned to Al-Betyl where she received a Wizard's education and religious indoctrination from her parents. The ominous prediction from the Mother Namtaru has been nearly forgotten by many, though her parents and other important members of the Cult have sought for years to divine its meaning. Zenda herself continues to live a happy life and, though she is extremely competent in necromancy, she has yet to decide whether she will make the transition into the body of an Unliving.

Heroes VII[]

Zenda was the first child born to Wizards who were fervent believers in the Spider Goddess. During her first encounter with the Mother Namtaru, a baptism ceremony where her feet were washed in the sacred venom and the education of her soul pledged to the sect, the Avatar of Asha put everyone at ease: "The child's fate belongs to no one. The Choice of Life or Unlife she will make when the Moon bathes in blood and a sword steals her heart." Zenda is now a very old Lich and though she is extremely competent in Necromancy, she has yet to decide if she will make the transformation into a Vampire.
The ominous prediction from the Mother Namtaru has been nearly forgotten by many, though important members of the cult have sought for years to divine its meaning. Zenda witnessed the destruction of Al-Betyl, a painful event she has come to believe is "the sword in the heart" the prophecy mentioned. Because of this, she is convinced the time to be reborn as a Vampire has come.
Filling the void left by Anastasya's disappearance, Zenda, now calling herself the Supreme Hierophant, gathered all surviving Necromancers in Heresh. Under her rule, House Eterna regained much of its lost power, but the cultists of the Spider Goddess also became more fanatical than ever.
Harnessing the powers of Darkness in Nar-Heresh, Zenda also triggered a new war with the Wizards when she used the Deadwood Staff to destroy two of the Silver Cities. All her enemies are now gathering, and Zenda is waiting for them from the centre of her web.
Using Vein's skull as a catalyst, Zenda unleashed the powers of the Deadwood Staff on the lands of Heresh, wiping out enemies and allies without discrimination, in one deadly sweep. Only the Necromancers that took refuge underground where spared by the destruction. Zenda herself was turned to dust by the energies of the Staff.
