The wolf rider is second-level creature of the Stronghold faction in Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia. It can be recruited from the wolf pen. The wolf rider can be upgraded to the wolf raider.

The wolf riders are offensive creatures, but they don't have much hit points, making them very non-practical for retaliations. Wolf riders can be used as a secondary force, having average speed. However, they are not good for fighting when being hit.

- Tyraxor is a specialist in wolf riders, and gives them +1 to Attack and Defense per hero level after second level. These creatures also get +1 to Speed.
