Wizard's Land 3 is a scenario in Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Price of Loyalty, and the third and last scenario in the Wizard's Land trilogy.
Your kingdom has been placed in a magical stasis, and you must find out who's behind it.OffBck
Discovering that the magical stasis placed on his kingdom was the work of the sorceress Iciria, Solmyr travelled to her castle, defeated her armies on the field of battle, and freed his kingdom.
Walkthrough[]
Like in the previous scenarios, Solmyr starts out with a single wizard town that cannot be upgraded to a castle, leaving him with no other heroes to command. Iciria has a sorceress castle, and the Druid Queen, who guards her realm with an army of greater druids.
By heading east, Solmyr can visit the blue traveller's tent before going west and north. Before going through the blue barrier, he should visit the green traveller's tent just east of it.
Past the barrier, he should capture the wizard town to the east, which has a fifth-level magic guild and all six wizard garrisons available to him. The town to the west has the same buildings, and the shipyard here will allow Solmyr to travel to the island in the northwestern corner, which has a two-way portal leading to Iciria's kingdom. Alternatively, he can simply head directly to the castle by following a path north due to a flaw in the map design.
Solmyr has to defeat the Druid Queen guarding Iciria's castle, a sorceress hero with a large force of greater druids. Once she has been taken care of, he can battle Iciria.
By following the obelisks, Solmyr can locate an ultimate artifact. The last obelisk is right next to Iciria's castle, but if he's lucky, it's possible to find the artifact without visiting every last obelisk. Iciria has a large amount of knowledge points, meaning that she will never run out of spells to cast during the battle. She does not have a lot of attack or defense points, so in order to make up for that, she is given a lot of sorceress troops to overwhelm Solmyr. Fortunately, Solmyr's high stats and his sizable army is enough to handle Iciria's forces. The player should also use powerful spells that he has learned from the mage guilds from the towns he own to turn the battle in his favor. Once the player defeats the sorceress, the player will win the campaign.
Notes[]
This scenario was dedicated to Princess Diana, who had recently passed away.
