Wards and Pendants is a magic shop in Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer. It is located in the Dragonhunter village in Garrote Gorge, inside the enclosure, next to the Dragon's Blood Inn. It is owned and operated by the magician Korxius.
Korxius sells mid- to high-level accessory items to friends of Charles Quixote, such as boots, belts, hats, gloves, rings, amulets, and cloaks, occasionally enchanted with mid- to high-level magical properties. Also available are reagents, all types of potions, gems, and scrolls of spells and spell books up to Grandmaster level. The exact supply varies. Prices reflect the quality of the items and the remoteness of the location.
In addition, party members can learn basic Identify Item or Repair Item for 500 gold, or have Korxius identify an item for 75 gold or repair it (cost varies depending on the item). Korxius also buys items similar to those he sells.
Korxius does not do business with anyone who is not friendly towards Charles Quixote.
