The war unicorn is the upgrade of the unicorn, the sixth-tier creature of the Rampart faction in Heroes of Might and Magic III. It can recruited from the upgraded unicorn glade.
Unicorns and war unicorns have excellent mobility and deliver severe damage with their lancing horn attack. This attack has a 20% chance of blinding an opponent. Both unicorn units project a magic resistant aura which gives adjacent units a 20% chance to ignore the effects of hostile spells.OffBck
With a good increase in hit points and speed, this is a useful upgrade, but it is also expensive. Other upgrades, like the wood elf and the green dragon, should come first.

- Clancy is a specialist in war unicorns, and gives them +1 to Attack and Defense per hero level after sixth level. These creatures also get +1 to Speed.
