The War of the Chalice was a war between vampires on the continent of Jadame on Enroth. Little is known about the event, but when the great Korbu emerged victorious, he took a terrible revenge on his defeated enemy, Calden Fain. With a spell of necromantic magic, he turned his foe, both body and soul, into the living blade known as Foulfang.
When Korbu later perished in his crypt, all knowledge of how to perform this spell was lost.
