War Machines is a skill in Heroes of Might and Magic V.

Effects[]

War Machines makes ballista, catapult, first aid tent and ammo cart more effective.

  • Basic War Machines increases attack, defense, and damage of the ballista. Increases catapult's damage and grants it a 30% chance to hit. The first aid tent receives increased healing power. The ammo cart grants an ability to increase attack of ranged units in the hero's army by one.
  • Advanced War Machines increases attack, defense, and damage of the ballista. Increases catapult's damage and grants it a 40% chance to hit. The first aid tent receives increased healing power. Ammo cart grants an ability to increase attack of ranged units in the hero's army by two.
  • Expert War Machines increases attack, defense, and damage of the ballista. Increases catapult's damage and grants it a 50% chance to hit. The first aid tent receives increased healing power. Ammo cart grants an ability to increase attack of ranged units in the hero's army by three.

Bonuses[]

  • Vittorio, a Haven hero, is a specialist in ballista and catapult, for ballista has Attack increased by 1 per ever hero level, and the catapult has 2% increased chance to hit a desired wall.
  • Deleb, an Inferno hero, is a specialist in ballista, for it inflicts a fireball spell, whose power depends on the hero's Spell Power that is increased by +1 per five levels.
  • Kaspar, a Necropolis hero, is a specialist in first aid tent, for it heals 5 hits points more per hero level (and in case of plague tent, inflicts more damage).
  • Ring of Machine Affinity grants an additional shot for ballista and catapult, doubles the healing effect of first aid tent, and gives +4 Attack to shooter units if an ammo cart is present. Icon-H5X2

Notes[]

  • On Advanced level, War Machines skill also enables the first aid tent to dispel negative effects.
