A waft is a tiny creature appearing in Might and Magic: The Dreamwright and Might and Magic: The Shadowsmith. It was very small, commmunicated through singing, and lived in the Aulmad. They could change their shape, but their favorite form was as a tiny, blue-tailed lizard.

When Pomponderant was traveling with Diligence's caravan, a waft entered his wagon one night, waking him up by landing on his nose. It delivered a message from his old friend and colleague Derbelderhed, about an old ruin in the Aulmad, and he left the caravan that same night.

After falling through the portal in the crystal palace, Hitch woke up in a pile of leaves, and saw a pale blue lizard, half as long as his index finger, watching him. It scurried up the trunk of a tree, delivering a melodic trill, but turned into a hovering blue light and shot off through the trees when it heard dry rustling nearby. He realized that he was in the Aulmad.

During Jassad Attqua's capture by the facestretchers, Hitch was hiding in a nearby tree. When they made camp during the night, he fell asleep, and woke up to find dozens of tiny blue lizards swarming over his chest and neck, delivering a chorus of peeping sounds. When he moved, they leapt into the air, dissolved into a cluster of pale blue lights, and raced off into the forest.
