Visit the Altar of the Moon at midnight during full moon is a promotion quest in Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven. Completing this quest will promote all Great druids in the party to Arch druid, giving them one extra hit point and spell point per level.
Loretta Fleise, in her role as the arch druid of Enroth, tells aspiring Great druids that in order to become Arch druids, they must first perform a ceremony in the Temple of the Moon at midnight during a full moon. Unfortunately, because of a split in the druid faction, performing the ceremony is not as straightforward as it used to be, since the party will need to fight their way to the temple's altar.
Monsters[]

Walkthrough[]
Loretta Fleise can be found in Castle Fleise on the coast of Silver Cove. The Temple of the Moon can be found just north of the town of Rockham in Free Haven.
Before you begin, ensure your Great Druid (or another Earth magic user in the party, or both) can perform the Stone to Flesh spell. While there are scrolls of this spell throughout the Temple of the Moon, they do not seem to work properly, at least in Windows 7.
The party will enter the Temple of the Moon in a large room, with double doors straight ahead and one door to each side. The double doors are locked and will not open until the proverb written over the door is solved. The proverb reads:
Life above all, Accuracy before Might, Endurance before Speed, and finally, Luck.
These properties are actually altars that can be reached through the side doors. The party must enter the side doors, find the altars and touch them in the order listed. Once they have touched the Luck altar, the double doors in the main hall will unlock, but not open on their own.
Once the doors are unlocked, the party may proceed into the chamber that houses the altar. All that is needed is to touch the altar exactly at midnight on the night of a full moon, and Loretta will contact you telepathically to promote the Great Druids.
Because this quest is time-sensitive, it is probably best to clean out the Temple at least a day in advance of the ceremony.
