Vetrinus Taleshire is a Lich character in Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer. He is responsible for promoting Necromancers in the party to Liches. He's also a hireling.

Vetrinus was eager to get his hands on the Lost Book of Kehl, as he believed that the secrets in the tome could enhance his skills "beyond that of even Sandro." He asked the Hero of Jadame to retrieve the tome, and in return, he was willing to turn all Necromancers in the hero's party to Liches.
Gameplay[]
Vetrinus Taleshire can be found in his home in Shadowspire, and offers the Find the Lost Book of Khel quest, which involves going to the Uplifted Library in the Dagger Wound Islands and retrieving the Lost Book of Kehl, as well as going to the Mad Necromancer's Lab and retrieving some Lich Jars. When the quest has been completed, Vetrinus promotes all Necromancers to Liches.
Vetrinus can be hired as a hireling once the party has completed the Sink the Regnan Fleet and Find the Lost Book of Khel quests. He is a 50th-level Lich.
