The thunderbird is a character in Pirates of the Savage Sea.
Biography[]
The Spirit world is divided into Elemental realms, each harbouring its own varieties of spirits and elementals, the mightiest of which are the Dragons themselves. The Thunderbird, known as a Rokh in the libraries of the Seven Cities, is one of the greater spirits of the Air. When bound to the material plane, the Thunderbird causes storms and hurricanes with each flap of its mighty wings. Most of the time, they are summoned by a Wizard or a priest of Ylath through complex rituals, but sometimes a Rokh egg spontaneously appears at the place where a thunderbolt hits the ground.OffBck

Tactic[]
It does not make sense before the fight to make a huge army, because a limited army with a particular combination appears (327 crushers; 375 goblin hunters; 336 furies; 93 dreamreavers; 102 centaur marauders; 86 panther warriors; 20 enraged cyclopes). The boss never moves, uses his abilities only against random targets. The most dangerous ability of the whole battle the "Lightning Strikes", dared until more turns may cause big damage. This to be avoided, a tree stands on the battlefield, that used as a lightning rod avoidable the lightning bolts. The other important ability the "Hurricane", with which teleport the army into two opposite poles of the battlefield. Use the Bloodrage and close combat creatures always before the boss would cause too big losses to the army. Useful abilities:
- Evasive Maneuvers; Resilience; Might Over Magic (to reduces damage)
- Arachne in Level 4 (to heals creatures)
- Rush! (the debuffed stack at what let him touch the tree soon)
- Reinforcements (increase number of target stack)
