Markal

The Regicide is the fourth scenario in The Necromancer campaign.

Walkthrough[]

Markal has arrived to the plane inside the Ring of the Unrepentant. He aims to kill Cyrus and take the ring. The path is dangerous, as Cyrus has, without doubt, set some ambushes and has raised an large army. Markal needs to follow the road, go to the keymasters to unlock the gates and face the Archmage himself.

Cyrus himself has not many skills to offer, but his army is quite large. Markal definitively needs to raise an army of his own before venturing to Cyrus. Many enemies guard treausres, so Markal is sure to get an army soon enough.

After killing the Archmage, Isabel and Markal are very confident, as they have all the 4 pieces of Vampire's Garment. Godric is very scpetical, as he worries what will *truly* happen to the King.

Events[]

  • Markal captures the Ring of the Unrepentant.
  • Markal, Isabel and Godric go to Hikm to retreieve the Amulet of Necromancy.
  • Markal kills Cyrus.

Strategy[]

The map is not large, so Markal is able to defeat any enemy, as well as raise an army. To optimise the chances, Markal should minimize his troop losses as much as possible, as Cyrus has a big army waiting.
