"Shadya! You don't know, do you. She's not one of us, but a succubus in disguise - Ashan would be a better place if her clever head was seperated from the rest of her body."
Raelag

The Meeting is the third scenario in Ylaya's Quest campaign in the Hammers of Fate expansion.

Walkthrough[]

The Dwarves have gone to fight the Dark Elves. Ylaya contacted Malsara to guide her. Malsara told her she needs to find a former Clanlord, Raelag and inform him of Thralsai and Shadya. However, nobody knows where the Clanlord went after the fighting in Sheogh.

She cannot lose Malsara, the black dragon, or her mission fails. The problem are 5 different factions, who oppose each other (including Clan Shadowbrand). Still, she can attack them all for her quest to continue in peace. At the north-eastern path, Ylaya will encounter a lot of portals. She could go to venture into them, but the Seer's Hut will offer a short-cut... if she brings the draconic artifacts, scattered across the region. The longer route takes more time and she needs to bring some army to beat the champion troops. In any case, Ylaya will find herself before Raelag's chamber. It is the one guarded by black dragons.

Inside the chamber, Ylaya encounters Raelag, and his love, Queen Isabel. Raelag is offended by her presence, but Ylaya reminds him she is the Keeper of the Law. She tells him Thralsai is raising forces to attack and Shadya offered him demonic rituals. Raelag and Isabel are not happy about it, and will join forces to stop Thralsai and Shadya.

Towns[]

Events[]

Ylaya finds Raelag and Queen Isabel.

Strategy[]

Since there are 5 different factions (each one is opposed to other), Ylaya could harness and take city by city when the forces are weakened.

It is possible to fail the mission transferring a Malsara from Ylaya hero to another hero, or dismiss Malsara.

At the portals, Ylaya could just bring the artifacts, but if one does not want to, she needs to use the first monolith (one-way), then continue to Raelag's chamber, guarded by black dragons.

Notes[]

In Gelbsee, if a Haven unit is recruited, it is possible it will be converted to Red Church's equivalent.
