Might and Magic Wiki

"For the first time in the history of the Contested Lands, humans and elves have fought alongside one another to defend the region from invaders. When the celebration is over, old hatreds will return and we will be citizens of a land in conflict. We must think about the future of the Contested Lands. It is time to shape its future. If our fight for independence is to succeed, we need something greater than our armies to motivate the populous. We need a symbolic cornerstone. Seek out the Grail in the enchanted lands where the Unicorns converse with the trees."

The Grail is the first scenario of the campaign Seeds of Discontent in Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia.

Walkthrough[]

To win, you must find the Grail within 2 months.OffBck

After fighting the armies of King Gryphonheart, AvLee and Erathia will return back to their hatreds for one another and will fight on the Contested Lands. The people there are not pleased by these conflicts and have assembled a force for independence. The first step is to acquire the holy artifact, the Grail. However, it must be acquired within three months.

There are three heroes and a single town, which has few buildings that can be built. Meanwhile, the leader finds out their sister has joined with Erathia and AvLee, their enemies. The heroes will need to make progress to reveal visions of the puzzle map through the obelisks to find the Grail and dig it out. Once done, a new step for independence of the Contested Lands starts.

Towns[]

Rampart: Avalon

Strategy[]

A simple scenario, where the heroes just need to focus on obtaining creatures to cross through and go to the obelisks. It will reveal an image in a swamp, where Castle and Rampart troops are stationed and need to be defeated. While the time limit is present, the heroes shouldn't have too much trouble, for the Grail can be dug out in more than a month. Basically, the heroes need to revisit the dwellings before launching attacks against neutral creatures.
