"In the scope of the Universe, we are but a single breath. To say we're insignificant is to give us too much credit. But when the Universe chooses you to be a part of its plan, you'd better hold on and take what you can get because your ride will surely be over before you know it!"

Walkthrough[]

Gauldoth has seen visions of his master, Kalibarr, being tormented by demons. He doubts the fact he might've survived the Reckoning. In any chance, he thinks he has been transported to a fiery realm, where Kreegans survived the Reckoning. Since Gauldoth has no towns, he should seek one in the east. Once captured, Gauldoth should be vary of the other Necropolis and Haven forces, which will enter the area. Eventually, Mardon informs Gauldoth they can mount an offensive on Great Arcan, which, in time, can be defeated. Gauldoth refuses and gives the plans to Queen Emilia. Gauldoth explaines to Mardor if he would rule Great Arcan, enemies would unite and defeat him. Instead, Emilia would have a doubt about Necromancers' plans and in time, kingdoms will fall, but Nekross would prevail.

Gauldoth should defeat the bone dragons guarding the portal to pass through. He will appear in west and should proceed towards south. On his way, there is a quest guard, which will require an Angel's Blade to pass through. Going east Gauldoth will come to first Necropolis town and north of it the second one. Near the north Necropolis is a quest guard with a keymaster tent. It requires 8 bone dragons, so Gauldoth must accumulate them, then visit the keymaster to go east, where the Haven forces lie. In the south-east is a seer's hut. The demon, who claims the Angel's Blade was crafted by a demon, requires Gauldoth to be level 18. Once gained enough experience, the demon gives the Angel's Blade.

Back at the quest guard in south-west, Gauldoth needs to shatter the blade and enter the portal. Inside, he finds a fiery realm, where he hopes to find his master. There are two portals: the two way leads to demon dwellings, while the one-way leads closer to Kalibarr. Gauldoth can fight demon forces to obtain valuable treasures and artifacts, but is not required. At the end, Gauldoth has to fight Rahjuu, who has a powerful army. Once defeated, Gauldoth visits the prison and frees Kalibarr and gives him Nekross at his disposal, but is worried as his master has changed.

Strategy[]

While very difficult, Gauldoth can capture all towns in the region. The strategy is to build and recruit forces, then proceed attacking the Necropolis towns. Since the enemy is powerful by the time Gauldoth comes, it should be counted they pass through the one-way portal, allowing Gauldoth to capture the towns and recruit troops. If not, Gauldoth should collect forces, complete quests and allow the enemy to roam around while Gauldoth goes to free Kalibarr.
