Findan, after assembling 20 emerald dragons

The Emerald Ones is the second scenario in The Ranger campaign.

Walkthrough[]

Findan has arrived per Alaron's request. Alaron tells him the tale that 20 years ago, he, Cyrus and Alexei came to a portal to Sheogh. Alexei and his knights came in, but Cyrus and Alaron had some doubts about the plan. Alaron has made his mind to join Alexei, but then the portal closed and Kha-Beleth slayed Alexei and his forces. On that day, emerald dragons deserted. Findan is tasked to retrieve the dragons back if Irollan has a chance for survival. There are some places Findan can learn from - some are in the underground and one is on northern island.

Findan will have to find the dragons. It won't be easy, as there are some demons on islands of the Blazing Sands. Findan will have to use a boat to get to two of the towns, while the third one can be accessed via the underground. When Findan caaptures the first town, an emerald dragon tells him he will have to defeat the towns to get the dragons' trust to come with him. Findan can use now the obelisks to see the locations of dragons' nests. When defeating the last town, Findan will be able to recruit emerald dragons in Mensyl (provided he builds the structure). The only thing left to do is wait to assemble the 20 emerald dragons.

Strategy[]

This is a difficult scenario, as the enemy controls 3 towns. Waiting for a long time will enable them to raise a huge army, so relying on skill seems one of few options available. Defeating the army is a difficult task, but possible if Findan has some emerald dragons.

Notes[]

Interestingly enough, in The Conquest and The Ship scenarios emerald dragons were available to be recruited, even to Agrael.
