Y'r Kathoum suggests that the hero finds the wizard, Al-Kadhir, to find out why was he at the site of the Hierophants. At north, the hero can meet up with Al-Kadhir. He explains he was trying to get past the barrier, from where screams of angels, turned into stones by the faceless, can be heard.
