"Now Orcs choose Orc fights, Orcs choose Orc enemy. Orcs choose Orc fate."
Kunyak

The Cup of Thunder is a scenario in Tribes of the East.

Walkthrough[]

Kunyak's might made the Orcs defeat the Falcon knights. It is not over, as Zed comes many knights come back to attack. Kunyak speaks with Batu, who contacts the spirits of water. They give Batu a hint: on one of the islands is a powerful cup that raises the waves, named as the Cup of Thunder. With this information, Kunyak goes to get that cup.

Kunyak is on a small island, with some mines around him. On eastern part are goblins who want Kunyak to free the shaman from the underground. Kunyak will have to defeat a pack of wights to free the shamans. The shamans and the goblins will join him and Kunyak will be able to feel the presence of the cup if he is near it.

Not much after that the wizards or the knights will come. They could go to the island, but if they see Kunyak's power, they will go away to neighbouring islands. Kunyak will have to keep them away to ensure his survival. Two cities lie near the island where Kukali is - Osol-Aih and Qulan. In addition, on an island south of Osol-Aih is a prison where an orc named Shak'Karukat is held. He will join Kunyak if freed.

Kunyak or Shak'Karukat will have to find the cup. There are three islands where the cup might be - the north-eastern, the north-western or the one south of Surghaal. They are marked by a blue light, so finding them shouldn't be hard. However, they are well guarded, so taking them will be harder than thought. If the chests are taken, an additional artifact will be added. When the cup is found, a large group of fire elementals (around 200) are guarding it. After they are defeated, Kunyak gets the cup. If four months have passed, a force of knights will spawn in south. If Kunyak has found the cup before, they will spawn that day, though they will be drowned. Same happens if the cup is found later, when they spawn.

Using the Cup of Thunder, Kunyak destroys the ships and drowns the "Steel Men". Kunyak promises in the name of Orc people that they now have a home, where they can choose on their own, not the Falcon knights.

Strategy[]

If Kunyak does not have much time, he should release the shamans and have a clue where to search for the cup. Additional heroes can be bought from the tavern to guard the cities Kunyak captured, as it is necessary to keep them out from the enemy's hands. It is not necessary to capture the other cities, but if Kunyak has time, he is available to do so.
