The Bull's Wake is the third scenario in The Will of Asha campaign in Tribes of the East.

Walkthrough[]

Ornella has finished her study of Necromancy. Now, she seeks to aid her "new" master, Arantir, to cleanse the demons from Ashan. She needs to meet with him - the nearby Hut of the Magi offers this location. On the road she has to battle conscripts, but they are no conscripts, but vampires who served Giovanni. The vampires tell there are also many Undead who will join her cause, as well as Giovanni's castle in east, though it is occupied by the Red Church.

Now, Ornella should get the mines and dwellings, which are scattered over the land. On her way to meet Arantir, she meets a vampire and some zombies. The vampire tells her they could not join her ranks and instead work in the mines, offering her gold. If Ornella takes the zombies, the deal is broken.

After defeating the guards, Arantir arrives and tells they need to defeat Orlando, who is hiding in the region. North is the city of Glemheim and they could take it. If so, Arantir interrogates one of the troops for information. The vindicator tells them that Orlando is no demon and the city of worship is the holy city of Flammshrein. The vindicator insults Arantir, resulting in becoming a zombie. It is definitive Arantir and Ornella have to visit Flammschrein.

The path is long, but they should reach Timberwood and finally, Millfield. Orlando resides in the city, so they should besiege it. However, after killing all of his troops, Orlando teleports away. Ornella wants to know why does he escape his own death, to which Arantir responds he fears he will be sent back to Sheogh as a weak imp.

  • Arantir and Ornella clear the Bull Duchy from the demon cultists.
  • Arantir and Ornella learn Flammschrein is the center of demonic worship.

Strategy[]

Ornella should conquer the land first, recruit the troops and develop the town. After meeting Arantir, they should both level-up for what is to come.

Notes[]

This is a foggy region, and after capturing Glenheim, the region becomes darker. The dark land script is the same one from The Vampire Lord scenario.

Bugs[]

It is possible that recruiting the Undead on the map will not count towards Ornella's objective.
