Might and Magic Wiki

"I have tamed a great beast. Now I must tame the monsters of the land. As the carnage grows, so does my power and bloodlust. I will sit upon the throne of Krewlod. Neither man or beast will stand in my way. "
Kilgor

Taming of the wild is the second scenario of the Festival of Life campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade.

Walkthrough[]

To prove you can keep land safe for the citizens you must defeat all of the creatures inhabiting this area inside of four months. If Kilgor or any of his lieutenants are killed, you lose. Levels will be limited to twenty.OffBck

To continue the chapter of the Festival of Life, Kilgor has to defeat all creatures in the land, which has not been cleansed for 30 years. To make matters interesting, Kilgor has three lieutenants in control: Oris, Gurnisson and Gird, but all of them must not be defeated. There are many creatures from different factions, and all of them are hostile. While the lieutenants collect forces in the area from the local dwellings (since the starting creatures will not be enough to continue on), Kilgor will have to eventually free them by visiting three keymaster guards: green (northeast from starting town) for Gird, red (northwest from starting town) for Oris and light blue (southeast from starting town) for Gurnisson.

Once every single creature has been defeated, Kilgor, with his new allies, moves onto the next part.

Towns[]

Stronghold

Strategy[]

Kilgor's allies will have to collect forces until he visits keymaster's tent. However, Kilgor has first to battle green dragons to move out of the Stronghold area, then attack the creatures standing in his way. With the amount of creatures on the map, the heroes will have to re-visit Stronghold town and dwellings for more troops, though money may also be a problem, even if some gold mines have been sized. Heroes are limited to level 20, while Kilgor, Oris, Gurnisson and Gird will carry over to next scenario.
