Talanar is a Ranger character in Heroes of Might and Magic V.
Talanar was the only survivor of one of the brutal attacks on The Day of the Tears of Fire. Seeing hundreds of his kinsmen die staggered the young warrior and filled him with an insatiable rage that returns whenever he sees his brethren fall in battle. His zeal for revenge is so great that it passes to those who are near him, the greater the losses suffered by his troops, the fiercer they become.OffBck

The Necromancer[]
- The Invasion: Talanar is sent to defend the Silver Cities; either Isabel or Markal have to stop him.
The Ranger[]
- The Defense: Findan has to rescue Talanar out of the prison so that he and Dirael can guard Irollan in his absence.
- The Vampire Lord: Dirael and Talanar rejoin Findan to defeat Nicolai, the vampire general.
Non-campaign[]
- Defiance: Eruina has to defeat Talanar, who is sent to stop the dark elves from taking over the island.
