"Cleanse the kingdom of my brother Elrath. Wherever the seed of Urgash sprouts, let it be crushed and wither to die.
At least someone around here gives orders that I like."
—Arkath and Wulfstan
Summoning the Dragon is the third scenario in Flying to the Rescue campaign from Tribes of the East, the second expansion to Heroes of Might and Magic V.
Walkthrough[]
Zehir comes to the Stone Halls and meets Wulfstan. Wulfstan is still declared an outlaw - Hangvul's troops are attacking him and does not know where his half-brother Rolf is. To restore order, Wulfstan tells Zehir he needs to go on the surface and find a portal where Arkath first appeared to the dwarves.
Zehir needs to go through the exit to go out and go to the north-west while Wulfstan needs to stay to protect Kolvard. He will be able to set Ilm-Hijra near the center of the map (north of the underground exit). He can visit the obelisks nearby and capture Heydmir in north-west to keep busy. The shrine is guarded by a red keymaster guard and the keymaster's tent is in north-east, near the underground entrance, guarded by a lot of dwarves. Zehir can only see near the undetground entrance, as near it is Hangvul, who must not be fought or the Stone Halls will be in a civil war...
Back at the shrine, when Zehir unlocks the guard, Rolf appears and will not have anyone stand in his way to become king. Zehir has no option but to kill him and proceed. Hangvul and Wulfstan also appear, though Hangvul taunts Zehir, as the "unbeliever" will speak to Arkath himself. Through the teleport they go and meet Arkath, who is angry for such devastation on Ashan. Still, Arkath commands them to go to the land of Elrath and destroy any demonic presence. Before leaving, Arkath names Wulfstan the king of Stone Halls. Zehir is pleased and tells Wulfstan he will meet him at Talonguard.
Events[]
- Wulfstan and Zehir go to Talonguard.
- Wulfstan becomes the king of Stone Halls.

Strategy[]
Wulfstan has to defend the cities in underground. When the heroes appear to take the city, Wulfstan should take all of the city's troops, as it is bound to happen one of them will take either Kolvard or Heydmir (after it has been captured). Zehir should give Wulfstan the Tear he got from the last mission (if he has it) to ease things. The other Tear should also be found and implemented in Ilm-Hijra, as all things built in it will be carried over to next scenario.
