Stranded is the first scenario of the Voyage Home campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Price of Loyalty.

Capture the town on the island off the southeast shore in order to construct a boat and travel back towards the mainland. Do not lose the hero Gallavant.OffBck

After being stranded on the shore of a remote island, the knight Gallavant captures the nearby Barbarian towns, eventually building a ship to head for home.

Walkthrough[]

Gallavant starts out on the northwestern shore of the large island, with a cyclops, two war trolls, and five swordsmen. Take the boots as the starter reward - they'll be needed to rush the barbarian on the same island.

First split the trolls into 2 slots. Attack the golem first, but don't collect the resources, then attack the rocs. protect both troll stacks so that only two rocs can hit one of the trolls. Do not let the trolls attack the rocs in melee until there's only one in the stack. If this is done correctly, the player will not lose a troop in the battle. Take the Barbarian castle nearby, then flag the sawmill and ore mine beside it. Build up on the first week, then commence invasion of the Barbarian castle below.

The player should easily vanquish the orange player and collect the resources on the same island. Continue to build up until the player has at least 10 cyclops and all creatures except goblins. Build a shipyard and a ship, and proceed to invade the barbarian town. The enemy hero has a massive army as well as superior hero stats. If the player loses, they should reload, gather another week of creatures, then engage until they win.
