Stone gargoyle's icon

The stone gargoyle is the second-tier creature of the Tower faction in Heroes of Might and Magic III. It can be recruited from the parapet. The stone gargoyle can be upgraded to the obsidian gargoyle.

Stone and obsidian gargoyles are demon-form statues animated for use as troops. They attack with raking claws.^OffBck

The stone gargoyle is a useful, mobile creature, capable of protecting the master gremlin as it fires shots upon the enemy. It's weaker and more expensive than some other second-level creatures, like the dwarf, but quicker.

Notes

• Piquedram is a specialist in stone gargoyles, and gives them +1 to Attack and Defense per hero level after second level. These creatures also get +1 to Speed.
