Steadwick's Liberation is the first scenario of the Liberation campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia.
Walkthrough[]
To win, you must capture the city of Steadwick. Seek out the Seer - completing the Seer's Quest will allow you to carry the reward to the next scenario.OffBck
Steadwick has been captured by Nighon and Eeofol troops. The town needs to be liberated from their presence. Since all surface routes to the city have been blocked, the only entrance is through underground tunnels. Bracada has set the town in the south-west and joined Erathia, while AvLee has also made their camp in north-east. The enemy has more towns under their control, including two Castles. The heroes will need to go through the tunnels, defeat the forces hosted at the garrison and capture Steadwick itself.
There is also a prison in the north-west, in which General Kendal is being held, being at level 11. The General holds the Ladybird of Luck, which can be exchanged to the seer near the starting Castle for a reward, a Badge of Courage, which can be transported to next scenarios.

Due to the size of the map, more heroes will need to be hired, though the initial one is Christian. Once all mines have been captured in the area, the heroes need to gain forces and split up: one goes to north-east, while the other to south-west to capture the towns and other mines. The enemy will likely gather a massive army, so the heroes should move away from them and stir trouble by capturing more towns. Once achieved, the heroes can return back to the towns, recruit as many troops as possible and make a counterattack. After the main force is defeated, the heroes need to capture the Dungeon towns to neutralize any possibility of another attack. The town of Steadwick can be easily captured after that moment.
