Arcane Excellence Edit
Showing excellent progress in the field of sorcery, the hero is granted +2 Spellpower permanently and +100 temporary mana (available to all heroes). Provided by Benediction and Arcane Training for Knights and Boneward and Eternal Servitude for Necromancers in Heroes V, and by Arcane Training and Erratic Mana for Warlocks, Counterspell and Consume Artifact for Wizards, and Arcane Training for everyone else in Tribes of the East.
Damage inflicted by any Destructive Magic spells to all troops under Necromancer's command is reduced by 20% (only available to Necromancers). Provided by Magic Insight in Heroes V and Arcane Training in Tribes of the East.
Special combat ability. Negates all effects of the next spell cast by the enemy, but drains twice the mana cost of that spell (available to all heroes).
Enemy hero will receive 15% penalty to initiative after casting any spell in combat (available to all heroes). Provided by Arcane Training for Runemages in Heroes V and by Arcane Brilliance for everyone in Tribes of the East.
Erratic Mana Edit
Mana cost of spells cast by the hero is randomly reduced by up to 50% (actual reduction is determined while casting is in progress) (available to all heroes). Provided by Mana Regeneration for Warlocks and Counterspell for Wizards in Heroes V, and Empowered Spells for Warlocks and Mana Regeneration for everyone else in Tribes of the East.
As a Demon Lord consumes corpses to restore mana, corpses may suddenly explode in a burst of fire, damaging all adjacent units including those under hero's control (only available to Demon Lords).
