Sorcery (H4)

Sorcery is a secondary skill in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. It increases damage of all spells, in particular:

Life Magic: holy word, holy shout
Death Magic: poison, plague
Order Magic: magic fist, ice bolt
Chaos Magic: magic arrow, sparks, fire bolt, fire ring, fireball, lighting, implosion, inferno, armageddon, chain lighting, disintegrate

Sorcery is related to secondary skill Chaos Magic.

Levels[]

Basic Sorcery increases the hero's spell damage (with all magic types) by 20%. It requires the hero to learn Basic Chaos Magic.

Advanced Sorcery increases the hero's spell damage by 40%. It requires the hero to learn Basic Sorcery.

Expert Sorcery increases the hero's spell damage by 60%. It requires the hero to learn Advanced Chaos Magic and Advanced Sorcery.

Master Sorcery increases the hero's spell damage by 80%. It requires the hero to learn Expert Sorcery.

Grandmaster Sorcery increases the hero's spell damage by 100%. It requires the hero to learn Expert Chaos Magic and Master Sorcery.

This is the final level of Sorcery skill, and does not unlock any additional skills. The hero can instead develop the Chaos Magic skill, if needed.

The efficiency can further be boosted through having the hero as an archmage class.
