The Unholy Order of the Sons of Erebus, usually shortened to the Sons of Erebus, was an order of demoniacs and heretics that served King Lucifer Kreegan III, leader of the kreegans and king of Eeofol. As his elite royal guard, they eagerly carried out his wishes. They were named after Erebus the Dark, one of the deities of the kreegans.
According to Judge Fairweather, the group consisted of well-trained and seasoned veterans. They were led by Xeron, the most evil and devious among them. Fairweather warned Gelu not to underestimate them, because they enjoyed cheating, and always had a trick up their sleeve.
The Sons of Erebus appear in Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade.
