The silverback is the core creature of the Haven in Might & Magic: Heroes VII. It is the upgraded form of the dire wolf.

Decades of breeding have produced the Silverbacks, a variety of Dire Wolf that is bigger, fiercer, and generally more aggressive. When they are unleashed on the battlefield, these muscular beasts don’t stop until they have closed their jaws on the enemy’s flesh.^OffBck

	The Dire Wolves’ uncanny mobility and ferocity let them retaliate against as many opponents as may attack them at the same time. They are simply relentless. The creature always retaliates if it has the opportunity.OffBck
