Shatter Dark is a skill in Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East.

Effects[]

Shatter Dark reduces the power of Dark Magic spells cast by the enemy. Only Barbarians can learn Shatter Dark, while others classes can learn Dark Magic skill instead.

  • With Basic Shatter Dark, all the Dark Magic spells of the first to third circles cast by the enemy are decreased by one mastery level (Expert to Advanced, etc.). The spellpower of spells cast initially without regard of mastery level of magic is decreased by 25%.
  • With Advanced Shatter Dark, all the Dark Magic spells of the first to third circles cast by the enemy are decreased by two mastery levels (Expert to Basic, Advanced to None, Basic becomes None and gets a -25% penalty to spellpower). The spellpower of spells cast initially without regard of mastery level of magic is decreased by 50%. The fourth circle spells cast by the enemy are decreased by one mastery level.
