"Before we begin our large scale invasion of Erathia, we must fill our ranks. Erathia’s populous will provide the recruits we need. Invade the local region and resurrect the needed troops."
Season of Harvest is a scenario of the campaign Long Live the King in Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia.
Walkthrough[]
To win, you must have a total of 2500 Skeletons in all your armies within 3 months. Some Border Guards can only be passed if a Hero carries a Quest Artifact from a previous scenario, but the artifact beyond the Border Guard will travel with you to the next scenario.OffBck
Before launching an attack on Erathia, the necromancers need to recruit and raise legions of skeletons. In three months, the heroes need to slay and raise 2500 skeletons for the army.
The enemies do not have any heroes and have towns that accumulate level 1 and 2 creatures. There are a few seer's huts that offer some rewards by bringing certain artifacts from the area.
If you are coming directly from A Gryphon's Heart, you can use the Spirit of Oppression to open the quest guard in the central part of the map, allowing you to free Sandro and get some undead troops for your army. As a reward, you will get the Collar of Conjuring for Corporeal Punishment.
If you are coming from Corporeal Punishment and have obtained the Pendant of Death from that scenario, you can use it to open the quest guard in the northwestern part of the map that contains the Spyglass, one of the two artifacts that can be carried over to From Day to Night.
After you have marched through the land and raised 2500 skeletons, the necromancers will be pleased, for they can make the final preparations for their invasion.

Strategy[]
Practically, a lot of heroes need to be recruited to defeat each and every creature on the map, for the time limit is three months. Fortunately, most of the troops are low-leveled ones and can be defeated quickly and easily. Make sure to build a Necromancy Amplifier as soon as possible if you don't have it already, and never let neutral creatures flee. Recruit any creatures you come across, living or undead. Their type doesn't matter, only the numbers, so be careful not to lose too many in combat. Once all creatures have been defeated, the heroes need to recruit the low-level troops from the enemies' towns and use the Skeleton Transformer in the main town to convert them. The neighboring dwellings also help with the recruitment.
