Scholar is a secondary skill in Heroes of Might and Magic III.
Allows the hero to exchange spells with other heroes during trading sessions. Spell exchange occurs automatically when the Hero Trade Screen appears. The hero learns spells he or she doesn’t know and teaches spells unknown to the hero traded with.OffBck

Scholar allows the hero to exchange spells with other heroes.
- Basic Scholar lets heroes teach and learn spells of second level and below.
- Advanced Scholar lets heroes teach and learn spells of third level and below.
- Expert Scholar lets heroes teach and learn spells of fourth level and below.
Skill rates[]
Scholar skill can be learned at certain rates by the following classes:
- 9: Wizard
- 8: Druid, Elementalist
and Warlock - 7: Witch
- 6: Cleric and Necromancer
- 5: Heretic
- 4: Battle Mage
- 3: Alchemist
- 2: Death Knight and Demoniac
- 1: Barbarian, Beastmaster, Knight, Overlord, Planeswalker and Ranger
