Rune Magic is a faction skill in Might & Magic: Heroes VII.

The Rune Magic skill is available only to the Engraver, Firebrander, Jarl, Runelord, Thane and Warlord classes.

Abilities[]

  • At Novice level, Rune Magic grants the hero the following effect:
    • The hero gets the Rune of Fortune.OffBck
  • At Expert level, Rune Magic grants the hero the following effect:
    • The hero gets the Rune of Destruction.OffBck
  • At Master level, Rune Magic grants the hero the following effect:
    • The hero gets the Rune of Resilience.OffBck

Rune of Healing Rune of Healing Novice The support warfare unit Runestone also heals all friendly creatures inside the aura of any own rune. These heal effects can stack up.OffBck
Rune of Initiative Rune of Initiative Novice +10 Initiative for all friendly Runes.OffBck
Rune of Berserking H7 Rune of Berserking Novice The hero's base damage is increased by +25 for every friendly rune aura affecting friendly creature.OffBck
Rune of Channeling Rune of Channeling Expert At the end of every combat round the hero regains 1 Mana for every creature standing in the aura of at least one of your runes.OffBck
Rune of Sundering Rune of Sundering Expert The active abilities of the Rune of Destruction deals 50% more damage. The shield from the Rune of Fortune absorbs 15 more damage.OffBck
Rune of Radiance Rune of Radiance Master All runes from the rune magic skill get a second active ability that triples the effect of its aura ability until the end of the next combat round. It can be activated only once per combat.OffBck
Rune of Scattering Rune of Scattering Grandmaster Whenever an enemy creature in an aura of a friendly rune is attacked in melee, additional 50% of the dealt damage is dealt again equally distributed to all other enemy creatures in an aura of any friendly rune.OffBck
