The rogue is a neutral creature in Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade. It can be recruited at the rogue cavern.

Rogues abound in Antagrich. If you are able to employ them in your ranks, you will be able to spy on any nearby enemies simply by right-clicking on them.^OffBck

The rogue is a somewhat decent front-line fighter, better at dealing damage than taking it, but it is far more valuable for its Spying ability, that lets you assess the strength of enemy stacks before engaging them, by right-clicking on enemy stacks. It will let the hero see their numbers, and whether neutral stacks will fight, run, or join the army.
