The rogue is a neutral first-tier creature in Heroes of Might and Magic: A Strategic Quest. A thief creature gifted with agility and offensive capabilities, the rogues can be purchased from wagons found on the adventure map.

Rogues are not aligned with any of the factions in the game, and subsequently they cannot be recruited from towns.

The rogue has a very high Attack rating, fast speed and a No Enemy Retaliation ability, making it an excellent attacker. The rogue's Defense is very low. Try to make sure the rogues are not attacked, and attack enemies which are likely to be finished or severely weakened with the first strike. Bless and Curse spells affect rogues strongly. They are a great creature to give to scouting heroes for plenty of movement points.
