Rissa was the first Alchemist to perfect the art of converting useless soft metals into mercury. Though now commanding her own army, she spends much of her idle time experimenting with other materials.^OffBck

According to Rissa, the problem with people is they're lazy. They don't want to get up in the morning and work all day, so you have to give them a reason to do what they should be doing all along. That's why the world has nobles - to motivate the lazy ones to do their jobs.^OffBck
