Archbishop Randall is a character appearing in Hammers of Fate and mentioned in Heroes of Might and Magic V.
Biography[]
The archbishop of the Holy Griffin Empire's Church of Elrath, he opposed Isabel's claim to throne after King Nicolai Griffin's death. Taking Prince Andrei under his custody, he supported him as the rightful heir of the Griffin line. Along with Lord Caldwell, he sought refuge on the elven lands.
His denouncement of Queen Isabel's rule ended fatally for him when the succubus Biara impersonated the queen and sent Alaric, Laszlo and Freyda to retrieve the young prince. His and Lord Caldwell's death by the hands of Red Church's knights marked the end of elven involvement in the affairs of the Holy Griffin Empire.
