The Lord of Water, like the other elemental lords, is imprisoned in a location surrounded by his opposite element, in this case, fire.

Chests in this dungeon require Grandmaster Disarm Trap to open safely.

Please refer to the map for numbered locations.

1. Entry Passage[]

The party will enter the prison in this passage, which is filled with ankle-deep lave, as is most of the prison, and which will damage the party if they stand or walk in it. Immediately facing the party will be a small group of Ether knights, Ether champions, and/or Ether lords, as well as one or two Lesser fire elementals, Fire elementals, and/or Greater fire elementals, and a Fear, Terror, or Nightmare or two.

2. East Room[]

This room contains some solid and safe floor in its center (as do all the rooms) in the center of the solid floor is a trapped treasure chest containing gold and some high-level items. Guarding this room are one or two Ether knights, Ether champions, and/or Ether lords, and a Lesser fire elemental, Fire elemental, and/or Greater fire elemental or two.

3. Northeast Room[]

Like the East Room before it, this room also has a solid island of floor set into the lava pool of the rest of the prison. It also has a similar treasure chest, also trapped and containing gold and high-level items. This room is guarded by a Fear, Terror, or Nightmare, and one or more Lesser fire elementals, Fire elementals, and/or Greater fire elementals.

4. West Room[]

Again, this room has a solid floor island with a trapped treasure chest on it, containing gold and high-level items. This room is guarded by a few Lesser fire elementals, Fire elementals, and/or Greater fire elementals.

5. Northwest Room[]

The fourth and last room with a solid floor island and trapped treasure chest. As before the chest contains gold and some high-level items. Here it is guarded by Fears, Terrors, and/or Nightmares, and one or more Lesser fire elementals, Fire elementals, and/or Greater fire elementals.

5. The Lord of Water's Cell[]

At the northernmost point of the prison is the cell of the Lord of Water. It is located at the end of a short lava-filled hallway that is patrolled by several Ether knights, Ether champions, and/or Ether lords, and Lesser fire elementals, Fire elementals, and/or Greater fire elementals. The black area at the end of the hallway is the Lord of Water's cell.
