These birds of pure fire roam freely in the skies. They are powerful allies for any hero lucky enough to find their hidden lairs and enlist their support. The essence of fire makes Phoenixes very hard to hit - any attacking creature will burn in their flames. But the most amazing Phoenix ability is to rise anew from the ashes they burn down to after their death.OffBck

The phoenix is a neutral creature in Heroes of Might and Magic V. It can be summoned with the Conjure phoenix spell.

The phoenix is one of the most powerful creatures in the game, capable of laying waste to armies. Not only can it fly, is Immune to Fire, and is protected by a Fire Shield, its Rebirth will allow it to return from the grave.

Phoenixes created by the Conjure Phoenix spell are far more powerful than those found in creature camps. With unmatched initiative and extremely high stats, a single summoned Phoenix can turn the tide of a difficult battle as long as it isn't targeted by mind spells like Puppet Master or taken out instantly by creatures like pit lords or wraiths.
