Paradise

Paradise in Conquest of the Underworld.

Paradise is a form of afterlife in the original universe of the Might and Magic series. First introduced in Heroes Chronicles: Conquest of the Underworld, it appears to act in parallel to other known forms of afterlife, such as Arslegard and Olympus. Souls of the denizens of at least Enroth and Axeoth are capable of achieving Paradise, which manifests as a lush, shimmering environment idyllic to its inhabitants. Entry to Paradise is governed by The Ancestors in the Hall of Judgement.

According to Axeothian lore, the Sword of the Gods was forged in Paradise by a mortal known as the Warrior of Light.[1] Though its nature is unclear, Paradise is not immune to attack from external forces; the Demon Jorm infiltrated the heavenly realm to capture the soul of Rion Gryphonheart, under orders from Duke Deezelisk. Entering Paradise was formerly the main motivation and ambition of Tarnum, the Immortal Hero.[2]
