The Paladin is an advanced class in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. It requires specialization in Life Magic and Combat.
Due to having already one of these skills, Archers, Barbarians and Priests are likely candidates for this class.
Effect[]
A Paladin has Death ward at all times, which makes them 50% resistant to Death spells, and increases melee and ranged defense by 50% against Death-aligned opponents.

The Paladin has the following priorities to learn secondary skills:
- 4: Combat, Magic Resistance, Melee
- Life Magic, as well as all of its related skills, have a priority of 4.
- 2: Nobility and Tactics, as well as all of their related skills, have a priority of 2.
- 1: Conjuration, Demonology, Occultism, Pathfinding, Pyromancy, Scouting, Seamanship, Seamanship, Sorcery
- Nature Magic and Order Magic, as well as all of their related skills, have a priority of 1.
- 0: Archery, Chaos Magic, Death Magic, Necromancy, Stealth
