Nightshade Magic is a secondary skill in Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era.

The hero can learn tier X Nightshade spells, without visiting a Mage Guild. Nightshade spells cost -Y mana and gain +1 level.OffBck

Effects[]

Nightshade Magic allows the hero to learn higher-level Nightshade Magic spells and increases their proficiency in Nightshade spells.

  • Basic Nightshade Magic allows the hero to learn tier 3 spells and increases the level of all Nightshade spells by 1.
  • Advanced Nightshade Magic allows the hero learn tier 4 spells, reduces the mana cost of Nightshade spells by 2, and increases the level of all Nightshade spells by 1.
  • Expert Nightshade Magic allows the hero learn tier 5 spells, reduces the mana cost of Nightshade spells by 2, and increases the level of all Nightshade spells by 1.

Scholar Synergy: Naira Advanced +4 Spell Power when casting Nightshade spells. An additional +1 for each other Magic School known.
Disguise Advanced Enemies can’t see detailed information about your army. When viewed, it shows random numbers of random creatures of you faction.
Darkest Night Advanced –1 level to all enemy Nightshade spells.
Nightshade Teachings Expert +1 level to all Nightshade spells.
Hour of the Wolf Expert –15% Attack and Defence to enemy creatures. This bonus is doubled if the hero knows "Resistance".
