The Necromancers are the main antagonist faction in Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.
They are powerful spellcasters and use a hook in melee combat but they are vulnerable to holy damage.
They usually cast flame arrows or try to freeze the player.
The stronger necromancers (known as "necro lords" or "necromancer lords") also usually summon zombies and raise near fallen Black Guards and when fighting them, the player should target the necrolords first as taking them down dispels their summoned creatures otherwise they can fill the area with zombies.
The player should try to engage necromancers in close combat to make them focus on using their hook instead of casting spells.
