The Naga Vault is located at the base of the mountains in western Garrote Gorge. It must be explored to complete the quest to Find the Legendary Drum of Victory.
Chests in this dungeon require Level 10 Master Disarm Trap to open safely.
The following numbered areas correspond to the numbers on the map.
1. Entry Hall[]
As soon as the party enters, they will be attacked by a large contingent of Nagas, Naga warriors, and/or Naga queens, as well as several Serpentmen, Serpentmen elders, and/or Serpentmen warriors.
2. Access Room[]
This room is empty except for a free-standing wall in the center of the room with five buttons on it. The buttons are arranged on the wall in a manner similar to the doors in the room, and in fact, each button works as an opening switch for the corresponding door.
3. Decoy Doors[]
Should the door to any of these small rooms open, they will free the Naga, Naga warrior, and/or Naga queen waiting inside. The easternmost chamber has a secret door inside it leading to a small room with gold and low to mid-grade items lying on the floor.
4. Octagonal Room[]
This octagonal room has several more Nagas, Naga warriors, and/or Naga queens patrolling inside it. In the center of the room, suspended from the ceiling by an invisible winch, is a platform with a trapped chest sitting on it. This chest contains the legendary Drum of Victory, as well as some mid to upper mid-level items and gold. The party will not be able to reach the chest, however, until the platform has been lowered to the floor.
5. Fireball Room[]
This trapped room has three to five Nagas, Naga warriors, and/or Naga queens guarding it, in addition to the fire trap placed on the switch in the room's center. Activating the switch will cause four Fireballs to discharge from the ceiling in a grid pattern around the switch. The switch works the winch that lowers the platform in area 4 to floor level.
6. Secret Door Room[]
There is a secret door at the eastern end of this room that has a trapped treasure chest behind it. The chest contains some mid to upper mid-level items and gold.
