The Lich Emperor Mederon was the first and last Lich Emperor of Nighon, and the only formally-recognised ruler of Nighon known to have lived until Mutare seized power in the 1100s AS.
Biography[]
Mederon was a Lich, and had hoped to found an "everlasting dynasty" in Nighon, creating the Crown of Final Dominion to secure his dominance over the island nation. However, he failed miserably; his reign lasted barely a dozen years, presumably falling victim to external invasion or internecine implosion.[1]
Mederon himself, though, escaped the fate of his kingdom, and by the time of the Night of the Crystal, it was "said he still live[d] as a madman and searche[d] the world for his lost crown". The crown itself was unearthed in Jadame by the Hero of Jadame in 1172 AS.[1]
