Magic well

Magic well Heroes II

The magic well is an adventure map structure in the Heroes of Might and Magic series.

Visiting the well restores the hero's spell points to the maximum amount. There is no battle, and no cost. The well can be visited more than once, and by any player's heroes, but it only grants its effect once per day to each hero. In Heroes IV, the magic well only restores 35% of the hero's maximum spell points, with separate objects called the Fountain of Magic, Magician's Pool, Lake of the Scarlet Swan, and Magic spring restoring 50%, 65%, 80%, and 100% respectively. In Heroes VI, the structure is called the Dragon Vein, but it behaves identically.
