|---|---|---|---|---|
| Crypt |
The hero fights skeletons, walking dead, and possibly wights and vampires and is rewarded with gold and possibly a treasure artifact. | You tentatively approach the burial crypt of ancient warriors. Do you want to search the graves? | One of the easiest creature banks in the game. Even a full power Crypt can be defeated early, and it will provide a lot of gold to boost early economy. Be cautious on dirt terrain however, as this will give vampires a notable speed boost. |
| Cyclops Stockpile |
The hero fights cyclopes and is rewarded with some of every resource except gold. | You have found a Cyclops Stockpile. Do you wish to attack the guards? | As sixth-level creatures with a ranged attack, the cyclopes can be dangerous enemies to early-game armies, and even later in the game, they pose a challenge. But the reward can often be worth it. |
| Derelict Ship |
The hero fights water elementals and is rewarded with gold and possibly a treasure or minor artifact. | The rotting hulk of a great pirate ship creaks eerily as it is pushed against the rocks. Do you wish to search the ship? | |
| Dragon Fly Hive |
The hero fights dragon flies and is rewarded with wyverns. | You have found a Dragon Fly Hive. Do you wish to attack the guards? | This bank can be extremely annoying, with the high speed of dragon flies and their starting position letting them easily swarm and attack ranged creatures. Without a very fast creature and Mass Slow, losses are almost unavoidable. However, the reward is very strong is will usually be worth a few losses. |
| Dragon Utopia |
The hero fights green, red, gold, and black dragons and is rewarded with gold and artifacts. | You stand before the Dragon Utopia, a place off-limits to mere humans. Do you wish to violate this rule and challenge the Dragons to a fight? | With a guard of 16-26 tier 7 creatures, the Dragon Utopia is one of the hardest fights in the game. The reward is between 20,000 and 50,000 gold and four artifacts, at least one of which will be relic class, making a victory very rewarding. |
| Dwarven Treasury |
The hero fights dwarves and is rewarded with gold and crystals. | You have found a Dwarven Treasury. Do you wish to attack the guards? | |
| Griffin Conservatory |
The hero fights griffins and is rewarded with angels. | You have found a Griffin Conservatory. Do you wish to attack the guards? | There will be quite a lot of griffins to face - between forty and a hundred - so they can be difficult to face with a low-tier army. But as one of the most powerful creatures in the game, the angels will be very useful to the hero that manages to win them. |
| Imp Cache |
The hero fights imps and is rewarded with gold and mercury. | You have found an Imp Cache. Do you wish to attack the guards? | |
| Medusa Stores |
The hero fights medusas and is rewarded with gold and sulfur. | You have found a Medusa Stores. Do you wish to attack the guards? | As ranged troops, the medusas can be problematic for slow, melee creatures, so it's better to face them with fast flyers or ranged units. The gold and sulfur can be very useful, especially for Dungeon heroes trying to afford black dragons. |
| Naga Bank |
The hero fights naga and is rewarded with gold and sulfur. | You have found a Naga Bank. Do you wish to attack the guards? | With their no-retaliation strikes, the naga can be an aggressive opponent, and spells or strong melee attacks may be needed to deal with them. |
| Pyramid |
The hero fights gold and diamond golems and is rewarded with a 5th level spell. | ||
| Shipwreck |
The hero fights wights and is rewarded with gold and possibly an artifact. | The rotting hulk of a great pirate ship creaks eerily as it is pushed against the rocks. Do you wish to search the shipwreck? |
