Lighthouse from

Lighthouse from Heroes I

The lighthouse is an adventure map structure in the Heroes of Might and Magic series. It first appears in Heroes of Might and Magic: A Strategic Quest.

When a hero gains control of the lighthouse, the player's heroes gain a bonus to water movement. This bonus is lost when another hero takes control of the lighthouse.

In Heroes III, Castles can build an in-town lighthouse, which functions identically to a captured lighthouse on the map. Due to a bug, lighthouses (both external and internal) in that game will benefit all players, not just its owner.
