Light Magic is a school of magic appearing in Heroes of Might and Magic V.

Level 1[]

It is cast by inquisitors at advanced level. The hero can cast this spell on all friendly units with Master of Wrath ability, but with double the cost. The hero can also cast mass haste spell with Power of Speed ability.
It is also cast, at advanced level, by shamans and its upgrade, sky daughters or earth daughters.

Regeneration
8 The target creature gains health regeneration on its turn. The creature receives 75% * (Power * 5%) Hit Points of the creature's maximum. Does not work on Undead, Mechanical and Elemental creatures. 1 turn duration 2 turn duration 3 turn duration 4 turn duration
Cleansing / Mass cleansing 10 Dispels positive magic effects from enemy creatures and negative effects from friendly creatures. Total dispel chance equals the constant + (Cleansing caster level - targeted spell level) * 3%; the constant is level of 1-7 for normal, and 2-8 for upgraded creatures. 40% chance to dispel 60% chance to dispel 80% chance to dispel 100% chance to dispel Cleansing, at advanced level, is cast by sprites, as well as mages, and its upgrade, archmages, at expert level. The hero can cast this spell in a 4x4 area with Master of Blessings ability, but with double the cost.
It is also cast, at advanced level, by battle mages and zealots.
Endurance / Mass endurance 6 Increases the selected friendly unit's defense strength. Spellpower determines the duration of effect. +3 Defense +6 Defense +9 Defense +12 Defense Endurance, at advanced level, is cast by inquisitors, druids and its upgrade, druid elders, at expert level. The hero can cast this spell on all friendly units with Master of Abjuration ability, but with double the cost. The hero can also cast mass endurance spell with Power of Endurance ability.
It is also cast, at advanced level, by high druids.

Righteous might / Mass righteous might 6 Affected creature is filled with rage and a lust for blood, it gains bonus to attack. +3 Attack +6 Attack +9 Attack +12 Attack Righteous might, at advanced level, is cast by archmages, shadow witches and its upgrade, shadow matriarchs. The hero can cast this spell on all friendly units with Master of Wrath ability, but with double the cost.
Helmar is a specialist in this spell, for it is randomly cast on the targeted creature when he casts a Light Magic spell upon it. It is also cast, at expert level, by zealots.
It is also cast, at advanced level, by shadow mistresses and seraphs.
Deflect missile / Mass deflect missile 6 Makes the selected friendly unit receive less damage from ranged attacks. 25% reduced damage 40% reduced damage 55% reduced damage 70% reduced damage The hero can cast this spell on all friendly units with Master of Abjuration ability, but with double the cost.
Deflect missile, at basic level, is cast by rune priests and its upgrade, rune patriarchs, at advanced level.
It is also cast, at advanced level, by rune keepers.

Magical immunity 7 Clears both positive and negative magic effects from the target stack and makes it immune to further magic spell effects. Can only be cast on friendly stack. Teleportation 8 Teleports targeted friendly creature to another location on a battlefield. N/A Teleport assault ability gives the hero this spell to cast, with the bonus to increase the targeted creature's Initiative. Grok is a specialist in this spell, for it requires half the mana cost to cast it.
Divine vengeance
14 Inflicts magical damage to selected creature that depends on the number of enemies selected creature killed from the beginning of combat. The X totals the square root of (level of the creature times * number slain in that stack). X * (Power + 10) 3 * X * (Power + 10) 4 * X * (Power + 10) 6 * X * (Power + 10) It is cast, at basic level, by seraphs. This spell has no effect if the enemy creature kills summoned creatures. Freyda is a specialist in this spell, for whenever she casts a Light Magic spell, this spell is randomly inflicted on the enemy that has killed a friendly creature.

Word of Light 15 Deals Fire damage to all the undead and infernal creatures on a battlefield. 2 * (4 + Power) 3 * (4 + Power) 6 * (5 + Power) 12 * (12 + Power) Ring of the Unrepentant grants immunity to this spell.
Resurrection 15 Resurrects creatures in target friendly stack. It also reduces target stack's maximum hitpoints by 10% until the end of the battle. 5 * (4 + Power) 10 * (4 + Power) 15 * (4 + Power) 30 * (8 + Power) Prior to patch 1.3, this spell did not reduce Hit Points of the target.
