Life Magic is a secondary skill in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. It is used to cast Life Magic spells.
Life Magic is related to secondary skills Healing, Spirituality and Resurrection. By default, priests start with this skill.
Life Magic can be combined with other secondary skills, which grants hero an advanced class:
- Chaos Magic: Heretic
- Combat: Paladin
- Death Magic: Dark Priest
- Nobility: Cardinal
- Nature Magic: Summoner
- Order Magic: Monk
- Scouting: Prophet
- Tactics: Crusader

Basic Life Magic allows the hero to cast level 1 Life Magic spells. It has no prerequesits.
This skill allows the hero to learn:
Advanced[]
Advanced Life Magic allows the hero to cast level 2 and lower Life Magic spells. It requires the hero to learn basic Life Magic and Basic Healing.
This skill allows the hero to learn:
Expert[]
Expert Life Magic allows the hero to cast level 3 and lower Life Magic spells. It requires the hero to learn Advanced Life Magic, Advanced Healing and Basic Spirituality.
This skill allows the hero to learn:
Master[]
Master Life Magic allows the hero to cast level 4 and lower Life Magic spells. It requires the hero to learn Expert Life Magic, Expert Healing and Expert Spirituality.
This skill allows the hero to learn:
Grandmaster[]
Grandmaster Life Magic allows the hero to cast level 5 and lower Life Magic spells. It requires the hero to learn Master Life Magic, Grandmaster Healing and Grandmaster Spirituality.
This is the final level of Life Magic, and does not unlock any additional skills. The hero can instead develop the Resurrection skill, if needed.
